STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Jeb S. Crosby, age 19, died Wednesday at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Ga. Jeb was born in Statesboro and raised in Cobbtown. He attended Collins Elementary School and Tattnall High School. Moving to Statesboro at the age of 15, Jeb attended Portal High School, graduating in 2012. After high school, he worked for Deal's Welding in Statesboro. He loved spending time at the river, fishing and hanging out with friends. He loved diesel trucks, especially the Ford F-250. Jeb was also a member of the Church of God in Metter. He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Wilbur Berry.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Melissa Berry Deal and Terry Deal of Statesboro; his father, James Crosby of Collins, Ga.; a brother and sister-in-law, Mitch and Keri Crosby of Aline, Ga.; a stepbrother, Jamie Deal of Statesboro; two nephews, Landon and Braiden; a niece, Makaila; his maternal grandparents, Broadus and Renee Aldrich of Metter; his paternal grandparents, Bobby and Doris Ann Crosby of Metter; great-grandmothers, Minnie Edenfield of Metter and Faye Miller of Hardeville, S.C.; and two step grandmothers, Gail Deal of Statesboro and Judy Berry of Metter.
Visitation will be held Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Kea officiating. Interment will follow in the Brannen Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Clint Crosby, Ashley Berry, Dillon Bowen, J.R. Fields, Will Deal and Jamie Deal.
