I've had the privilege of being a daughter-in-law and a sister-in-law to Lawrence. Lawrence was always there for me, and I'll love him forever for that. He protected me even when I was working late and had to walk to the office garage. I would call him and he would stay on the line until I was safely locked in my car. He'll still be watching over me, no doubt. Such a wonderful person and Dad. Dance your socks off in Heaven, Popa!

GOLDEN HEART
God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not meant to be. So, He put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands now rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Rest in Peace, Popa Lawrence. We know you are in Heaven with Nanny now, but you will be greatly missed. I love you always.

I too, am so thankful for the time that I have spent with Popa. I have never known such a smart, patriotic, forgiving, and loving man. I knew years ago when I married into the family and saw how much Ann loved her Popa, that I was in the right place. He was such a great influence in her life, I cannot even begin to explain. We all understand that he had to leave us, we just hate that our time was cut off so short. We will all be together again and until then, I love you Popa Lawrence and I will do my best to see that she is taken care of.
