Frances Dailey Obituary

Frances Dailey Frances Dailey, born August 21, 1933, stepped into the heavenly presence of Jesus Christ her Savior on April 12, 11:30 PM at the age of 79. She held a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas and taught third grade for 2 years. As a faithful member of Great Hills Baptist Church, Frances had sung in the choir, taught in the Ladies' Retreat Ministry, and served with her husband in the Young Married Adult Ministry. She was also involved in Bible Study Fellowship International for a number of years. Frances will be remembered for her love of people, her wonderful sense of humor and her service to the Lord. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 56 years, Felix; her children, Linda and husband, Alan, David and wife, Donna, and Michael; her grandchildren, Leah, Jonathan, Rebecca, Thomas, Laura, Suzanne and Todd; 3 great grandchildren; her sister, Jane Eckman; and many close friends. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from ten o'clock until eleven o'clock in the morning, on Friday, the 20th of April 2013, at Great Hills Baptist Church, 10500 Jollyville Road, Austin, Texas. A funeral service to celebrate her life and to honor the Lord Jesus Christ will be held in the sanctuary of Great Hills Baptist Church at eleven o'clock in the morning on Friday, the 20th of April 2013. Private graveside services will be held in Grapeland, Texas. In lieu of flowers and customary remembrances, the family suggests donations be made to Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607-3000 or Bible Study Fellowship International, www.bsfinternational.org . Jesus said, "...whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life." Frances was a wonderful example and influence to so many as she served our Lord and her family and community. While always the lady, she had a great sense of humor, and could whistle louder than anyone else I know. I know you will all miss her beyond words!

Aunt Frances was extremely witty, funny, strong, dedicated and the most precious person. She was one who loved life and lived it well with purpose and love for God and people. She dearly loved the Lord, her husband, Uncle Felix , her children and family all her days. Her influence had no boundaries by the way she served God and lived life. Prayers for Uncle Felix and her dear family. She was very special and one if a kind.
