JOHNSON, Lana Jean - Austin  
JOHNSON, Lana Jean 12-29-1945 to 4-5-2015 Lana Jean Johnson of Austin, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday April 5th. She was the daughter of Harold & Helen Cole of Albuquerque. Lana was born in Grindstone, Pa. She grew up in Albuquerque and graduated from Sandia High School. Having the opportunity to live around the world spurred Lana's obsession for travel and adventure.Her creative design and passion for decorating were important parts of her life. As a breast cancer survivor, Lana was invited to be part of Breast Cancer Resource Centers support group in north Austin and met monthly to stuff pillows that the Marble Falls/Johnson City Quilt Club sewed for the BCRC. She was a part of a group of dedicated women who came together from different walks of life as they helped those diagnosed with breast cancer. The family appreciates the care Lana received from the staff at Christopher House, Texas Oncology in Cedar Park, Dr. Kevin Fites office as well as the comfort she received from her many friends. Lana is survived by her mother Helen Cole, son Kenneth, his wife Valarie and her grandson Kenneth Dean Johnson, all of Austin, Texas. A celebration of Lana's life will be held at The Umlauf Sculpture Gardens in Austin on Saturday May 2nd, 2015 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas in Lana's memory.

JOHNSON Sr., Arthur Lee "Chief" Arthur L. Johnson, Sr., 83, of Austin, TX, passed away Monday, April 20th. He was born in Bartlett, TX on May 11, 1931, a son of the late Ella (Scott) and Lee Johnson. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Emmanuel Baptist Church at 10am on Saturday, April 25th, with interment in Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery. JOHNSON, William K. - Austin  
JOHNSON, William K. William K. 'Bill, Duck or PawPaw' Johnson of Buda, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015. He was surrounded by family and friends at the time of passing. Bill was born July 20, 1925 in Houston, Texas to Willie Roy Johnson and Jewell May Taylor Johnson. Bill served in the Army from 1945 to 1946 WWII. Bill was a Mail Carrier for 32 years in Austin. After retirement he worked various part time jobs and did a lot of traveling with the Rolling Wheels Travel Club. Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lucile Anna Skelton Johnson, daughters: Cindy Herzog and 'favorite' son-in-law Gary Herzog of Buda, Melinda Grimes and son-in-law Larry Grimes of Manchaca, Kim Tomlin and son-in-law Keith Tomlin of Wimberley, son: Kenneth Johnson, Jr. of Lexington, Texas, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, brother: Walter 'Bobby' Robert Johnson and sister: Alice Jane Johnson Taylor. He was preceded in death by parents, brother Clyde Johnson and sister-in-law Virginia Hare Johnson, brother-in-law Roger Taylor and sister-in-law Ann 'Nancy' Marie Doyle Johnson. Bill was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ formerly Ford Village Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the SW School of Bible Studies, 8900 Manchaca Road, Austin, Texas 78748. Visitation with the family will be held, Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held, Friday, April 24, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
