THOMASON, James C. James C. Thomason, 91, Born Nov. 20, 1923, Died May 11, 2015. He is survived by his wife Nita Thomason, four children, daughters Judy Costello, Janice Jones/ husband Jim, sons Jimmy/wife Karen, and Joe/wife Becky Thomason, step-daughter Sherry Priddy, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His life was in service to others. A veteran of WWII and Korea, Houston Police officer and Investigator for the District Attorney's office. He retired as an Investigator for the Harris County Medical Examiner's office in 1984. Memorial service will be held Sat. June 6, 2015 at 2:00 at the Thomason Funeral Home Chapel on RR 12 in Wimberley, TX. In Lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be given in his name to Meals On Wheels, Wimberley.

TUCKER, H. Dale Enough said! H. Dale Tucker of Marble Falls died Wednesday, May 27, 2015, three days before his 88th birthday. A Masonic Burial will be held at the Marble Falls Cemetery May 30, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at the First United Methodist Church of Marble Falls at 4:00 p.m. He was born in Dallas, Texas, on May 30, 1927 to Rufus Tucker and Sylvia Shillings Tucker. A 1945 graduate of Burnet High School, Dale then entered Army Basic Training in Ft. Roberts, CA and then to Vienna, Austria as a payroll clerk in the Army of Occupation. While in the Army, Dale had earned college credits at New Mexico A&M and Texas Tech. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1950 earning a degree in Electrical Engineering. Dale met Vashti Smith of Marble Falls in 1947 while he was a tu student. They married in the Marble Falls First Methodist Church on September 10, 1949 and completed their degrees at tu after they married. Dale began his career as a concrete inspector on the Max Starke Dam. He worked for Lower Colorado River Authority for forty years before retiring as Executive Director of the Electrical Division. In 2001, the Tuckers returned to Marble Falls building their lake home near Max Starke Dam. The home with its lakeside dock has been a favorite retreat for the family. Dale greatly enjoyed water sports and golfing with his children and grandchildren. Wherever they have lived, the Tuckers have been active in the Methodist church. Dale was also a very active member of the Masonic Lodge in Marble Falls and Burnet and the Ben Hur Shrine. Survivors include his wife of 65 years Vashti Tucker of Marble Falls; a sister Betty Brown of Taylor; son Byron Tucker, MD, of Temple; daughter Cynthia Nelson and husband Dan of Fredericksburg; son David Tucker and wife Debbie of Bellaire; and grandchildren Trevor Tucker of Knoxville; Travis Nelson of Salt Lake City; Ryan Nelson and wife Jayme of Austin; Nolan Tucker of Houston; Chloe and Madeline Tucker, both of Dallas. Dale was preceded in death by brother Roland and sister Virginia. Memorials may be made to the Shrine Hospital for Children or a charity of choice. TORRES, Maria Gomez Maria Gomez Torres, 73, of Austin, Texas passed away May 21, 2015 surrounded by her family and friends. She is survived by her brothers, Roy and David Torres, sisters Lucy Solis and Janie Guebara; daughters, Mary Esther Veloria, husband John Veloria Jr., Gloria Lagunas, husband Juan Salazar, Sylvia Lagunas, and Millie Cruz-Rivera. Grandchildren Daniel Lugo IV, Denise , Crystal, and Jessica Lagunas, Juan Salazar, Jr., Shauntel Reynoso, Veronica Veloria, Stephanie Arredondo, John Veloria III, Andrea Yanis, and Brandyn Garcia and many great grandchildren she adored. Preceded in death are her son Jesse Lagunas III, parents Alfredo and Guadalupe Torres, brothers Joe, Fred, and Jesse Torres, and sister Antonia Osborn. Maria would like to thank all her customers from El Menudito for their regular business. Rosary-7pm, Thursday May 28th and mass 11am, Friday May 29th will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1206 E 9th St, Austin, TX . TREVINO, Edward G. March 10, 1942 - May 19, 2015 Edward G Trevino, 73, Born in Austin, Texas and recited in Marble Falls,Texas passed away May 19, 2015, to a battle with cancer. He attended Palm Elementary and University Jr. High school. He started as a cook at his uncle's restaurant "El Matamoros". He met his loving wife, Elvira Vallejo, in 1957. They were married on June 10,1960. He became a self-employed entrepreneur owning several restaurants in the Austin area. He also owned a masonry co. for 10 years before returning to the restaurant business. He opened and operated "Taco Marina" in Lakeway, Texas before opening a restaurant in South East Austin named "Los Machetes". He spent his last years as a caregiver. He was a devoted husband and loving father, PAPPY, and Great Grandfather (GG pa). Edward loved to be surrounded by family, loved ones and friends. He liked hosting parties at his home. He was a jokester , prankster and loved having fun with everyone. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Survived by: Wife of 55 years Elvira V. Trevino. Daughter Olivia V. Trevino of Marble Falls, 2 sons Edward V. Trevino Jr. (Ester) of Lakeway, Michael V. Trevino Sr. (Sandra) of Spicewood, Brother in law/son Abraham Vallejo Sr. (Becky) of Lakeway. 12 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren. 2 sisters Rosa Cedato (Andrew) and Gloria Trevino of Austin, 3 brothers Teodoro Trevino (Yolanda) of Cibolo, Albert Trevino (Belinda) of Leander, Roland Trevino (Linda) of Austin, sister in laws Siria Trevino and Alice Trevino, brother in law Gary Snyder and numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by: son Richard John Raymond Trevino, Parents Teodoro and Rosita Trevino Sr. 3 brothers Larry Trevino, Arnold Trevino Sr., Carlos Trevino, sister Alicia Snyder. Family would like to thank all doctors and staff who provided loving, compassionate care to our loved one. Dr. Arthur Smith, Dr. William Rodriguez, Dr. Robert Stroud, Drs. and staff @ Texas Oncology of Austin and Drs. and staff @ Texas Oncology of Marble Falls.
