Catherine Ruble Tull

Catherine Ruble Tull Catherine Ruble Tull died peacefully Monday, March 11, at Seton Hospital, surrounded by her husband and four children. The daughter of Charles B. and Elsie Leona Davis Ruble, she was born on November 20, 1928, and raised on a dairy farm outside of Decatur, Illinois. She attended business school, met her husband of sixty years at the University of Illinois, and has lived in Austin since 1961. She raised four children and then worked as administrative assistant for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas until she retired. She is survived by two brothers, William Ruble and Charles Ruble; her husband, Robert G. Tull; her four children, Patricia Tull, Steve Tull, Alan Tull, and Kendra Hiller; four grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren. She enjoyed square dancing and reading, and was a member of Genesis Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir. Visitation with the family in the narthex of Genesis Presbyterian Church (1507 Wilshire Blvd.) will begin at 1:00 pm Friday, March 15. The Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 pm, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Presbyterian Church or to the .
