Ella Mae Sanders Bailey
Ella Mae Sanders Bailey, 100, formerly of Austin passed away Thursday, March 16, 2006. Family visitation will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2006, prior to Celebration of Life Services at 3:00 p.m., at Providence Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Mattson will officiate and burial will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Memorial Park. Ella Mae was born April 29, 1905, in Austin to William Thomas and Clara Bell (Butler) Sanders. She was married to Landrum Littlepage Bailey in 1929. Ella was also a member of Windsor Park Baptist Church in Austin. She is survived by her son, Dr. Jack Clinton Bailey and wife, Maybell of Linden; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Bailey of Taylor; grandchildren, Dr. Jack Clinton Bailey II and wife, Nicole of Clinton, Mississippi, Brian Alden Bailey of Yazoo City, Mississippi, William Coleman Bailey, Jr. of San Antonio, and Jacque Bailey of Kingsland; two step-grandchildren, Michael Sembritzky of Fredericksburg, and Susan Brown of Mason; great-grandchildren, Jack Clinton Bailey III, Olivia Grace Bailey, Benjamin Glenn Bailey, and Ella Elizabeth Bailey all of Clinton, Mississippi, Danny Wishert of Kingsland, and Nasha Wishert Hardy of Llano; four step-great-gradchildren, CPL Kelby Brown, Tyson Brown, Tanner Brown of Mason, and Dalton Sembritzky of Fredericksburg; two great- great-grandchildren, Cody Wishert and McKayla Hardy; one sister, Pearl Sanders Smelley of Fort Worth. Ella was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Landrum Littlepage Bailey; a son, William Coleman Bailey; sister Hazel SandersTew, Lucille Sanders Harvey, Lillie Sanders Turner, Emma Sanders Lawrence, and Nellie Sanders Teltens; brothers, Charles Thomas Sanders, William (Bill) Sanders, and Jess Sanders. Pallbearers will be Dr. Jack Clinton Bailey II, Brian Alden Bailey, William Coleman Bailey, Jr., Danny Wishert, Michael Sembritzky, Rodney Tew, Stanley Lawrence, and Richard Townsend.
