Floyd Brizendine Floyd Brizendine, 83, died April 18, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife Helen Burns Brizendine and family Floyd Brizendine Jr, Cathy Franzetti, Tim McHale, Kevin McHale & Colleen Villarreal. Grandchildren: Tony & Bobby Franzetti, Nicole Villarreal, Colin, Miles & Matt McHale & Michael & Ryan McHale. Great Grandchildren Jake Villarreal & Kendall Guerrero. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents Allie & Virginia and 3 brothers, Junior, Glenn & Harry Brizendine. He served his country honorably for over 20 years including Korea & Vietnam. He retired as a Sergeant First Class with many commendations including: The Bronze Star, The Air Medal & The Purple Heart. He was former commander of American Legion Post 83 and a member of the VFW. Floyd was a 32nd Degree Mason. He retired from Time Warner Cable as former Fleet Manager. Floyd loved flying & was an excellent pilot instructor. His most recent passion became his Harley Trike. He especially loved his many friends at Cowboy Harley-Davidson. Pallbearers will be Russell Naron, Don Stewart & his eight grandchildren. Visitation 3:00 till 7:00 on Tuesday, April 23rd & funeral service 10:00 Thursday, April 25th at Harrell's Funeral Home: 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745. Military internment will follow 1:45 at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. Memorial tributes may be made to "Max's Ride for ALS"
