Harold Dean St.Clair
Harold Dean St.Clair, 84, of Georgetown, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013. Harold will be laid to rest at The Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2013. A Celebration of Life Service for Harold will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at The Worship Place in Sun City. Harold was born June 3, 1929 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Charles Lyman and Rose Anna Stewart St.Clair. After graduating high school in Goodwell, OK, Harold courted Sidna Sue Love and on October 24, 1947, he married the love of his life in Dumas, Texas. Together they built a life and cultivated a family for over 66 years. Seven months after they were married, Harold enlisted in the United States Air Force
and served his country honorably in the Korean War
. Following his military service, he worked in senior management in the petroleum industry in Houston and California for Smith International. He retired in 1984 after 29 years in the oil industry. Sue and Harold moved to Sun City Georgetown, Texas 13 years ago. He was a Master Mason with San Gabriel Masonic Lodge #89 AF&AM, a member of the Ben Hur Shrine and Scottish Rite #32 of Austin. He was an avid golfer, a member of The Worship Place in Sun City and a member of Woodworkers of America. He won numerous ribbons and awards over the years and his family and friends will long cherish the beautiful woodcarvings that he lovingly and artistically designed. Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rose St. Clair; his brothers Wayne St.Clair and Jack St.Clair; great-granddaughter Kaitlin St.Clair; and his sister-in-law, Juanita St. Clair. Harold leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 66 years, Sue of Georgetown; children, Claudia Woodard and husband James of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Charles St. Clair and wife Laura of Porter; grandchildren, Wendy Manuel and husband Keith of Pineville, Louisiana, James Woodard, II and wife Michelle of Missouri City, Ryan St. Clair and wife Carmon of Kingwood and Corey St. Clair of San Marcos; great-grandchildren, Keith Manuel Jr., Jeremy Manuel, Hannah Manuel, Gage Woodard, Skylar Smith and Adelynn St.Clair and other loving family and friends.
