Harold James Dunlevy

Harold James Dunlevy Harold James Dunlevy, age 93, of Austin, passed away on February 21, 2013. He was born in San Antonio on January 31, 1920 to Emma Siebert and John Garvin Dunlevy. Following graduation from Breckenridge High School he enlisted in the US Army Air Corps in 1942. Jim proudly served his country as an Air Corps Radio Operator Technical Sergeant, seeing military action in N Africa and Europe. He returned to Texas where he was united in marriage with Lucile (Cile) Wessels of La Feria, TX. He graduated from the UT College of Engineering with a degree in Civil Engineering. He worked for the TX State Highway Department as a bridge design engineer until 1977. Upon retirement, Jim gained his private pilot's license, enjoying many hours in the air. He was a member of St Martin's Lutheran church. Jim is survived by his wife of 68 years, Cile, and his four children, Patricia Evans of Harrison AR, Kevin Dunlevy of Richardson, Vickie Dunlevy and Lisa Bordelon, both of Austin, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and his brother, Mike John Dunlevy and wife, Florence, of San Antonio Family members are deeply grateful to the staff at Emeritus Assisted Living, St Martin's Stephen Ministry, Hospice Austin, and his many care givers.
