SHAW, Michael Edward
Michael Edward Shaw, age 27, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013. His death was unexpected and heartbreaking for his family and friends. Even though Michael suffered with Marfan's Syndrome, he maintained a happy and fun-loving spirit - one that will always be remembered by those that love him. Michael leaves a legacy of a life well lived. He graduated form Cedar Park High School in 2004. He is a seventh generation Texan-and proud to be one. There is no doubt that he was an avid Longhorn fan - Hook'em Michael! He was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, #104. In the last few years, he joined a Science Fiction Book Club that he really enjoyed. His favorite activities included spending time with his wife, his beautiful children, his family, and close friends-all of which take peace in the fact that Michael is now in Heaven, pain-free, with his savior Jesus Christ. Michael was born on October 12, 1985. He most recently resided in Pflugerville, but spent his teenage years living in Cedar Park. He is survived by his wife, Mandy Nichole Shaw, and their twin babies Madison Grace and Michael Kaden. Other surviving family members include his parents Mike & Lisa Shaw, brother Philip, and cousin Ashley, parent-in-laws Amy & Keith McMullen, brother-in-laws Chilton & Blaine McMullen, and father-in-law Homer Burson. Additionally, Michael was blessed with a loving extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The public viewing will be held at the Beck Funeral Home (15709 RR 620 North, Austin) on October 3 from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. Friends and family are all invited to join the Celebration of Michael's Life, at Hill Country Bible Church Austin-Lakeline Campus (12124 RR 620 North, Austin) on Friday, October 4 at 11:30a.m., with a reception following.
