CLOER, Ronald

Ronald Neil Cloer was born April 11, 1938 in Austin, Tx. and passed away peacefully February 9, 2014.

Ron proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. After discharge he worked as a surveyor with Brown and Root and then worked as a truck driver for the Austin American Statesman before retiring. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents Milton and Lorene Cloer and son in law Eugene Glaser. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Carole Cloer , daughters and spouses, Chevonie and Bruce Morgan, Ronda and Michael Wood, Shanna Glaser, sisters and spouses, Sharon and Bobby Murdoch, Colleen and Ted Langsworthy, one granddaughter, five grandsons, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Memorial services will be held at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Park Road 4, Burnet, Texas on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. John Taylor officiating. An online guest register may be signed at
