Shelly was born November 17, 1965 in Tampa Florida at Mac -Dill AFB. Born into a military family the fourth of five children, she was world traveled before she was out of grade school. Shelly graduated with National Honors from Haworth High School 1984. After graduation, Shelly attended Xavier University for two years. She then made the decision to get a world class education, see the world as an adult, and serve her country by joining the United States Air Force. After serving her country Shelly settled down in Austin TX. It was hard at times, but she pushed through using the skills she learned from home and the military. She continued in the field of electrical engineering and secured a position at Lockheed. Shelly met a young man by the name Dennis Judkins, fell in love and was married. After a short marriage they decided to go their separate ways. After being employed with several different firms Shelly started her own business "SL J Services" to focus more on her career, family and things that helped her to remain the happy person we know her to be. During all the time from beginning to end Shelly Lynn (Daniel) Judkins never forgot who she was, where she came from, the people she loved, and the people that loved her. She would always be there for a word of sound advice or a shoulder to lean on. She was an honorable and kind person, loving, caring sister, and a great friend. Although she had no children of her own she was an excellent mother to many and willing to do her best in everything and with everyone she was involved with. Shelly was fun-loving and all she lived for was peace, love and happiness. I'm glad to say she had it all. We'll miss you. Funeral service will be held at Austin Peel & Son Funeral Home 607 E.
