Willie B. Sampson Willie B. Sampson, 83, died on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. He was born to Moses and Della Sampson in Cedar Creek, Texas. He received his BS and MS from Huston-Tillotson and also served in United States Army. He was a longtime assistant principal at the Dawson Elementary. Willie B. Sampson was a member of Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church for 55 years where he served as a bible school teacher and deacon. Survivors include wife Betty Jo Sampson; brother, Rev. Huet (Dorothy) Sampson); stepson, Alfred Sanders; grandchildren, Kervonda Sampson & Kerwin (Cherie) Sampson. Services will be held at on 11A.M., Tuesday, September 18 at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1801 Pennsylvania Ave. Austin, TX. The public may view from 1:00-7:00 P.M. at Mercer Memorial Chapel at Fuller-Sheffield Funeral Service 2808 East M.L.K.
