Kathy,
reading your dad's obit, I didn't know we had so much in common. My mom was born in Cambridge 3 months after your dad and our family plot is in Mt Auburn, what abeautiful cemetery.
We so enjoyed having you and your father at the Gathering, you both always were smiling and so positive.
Our condolences to you and your family.

Everything I want to say about Bob has already been said. In addition to folk dancing, I enjoyed going on Audubon bird-watching trips with Bob and occasionally he would lead such a trip for the Audubon Society. He not only knew his dances, he also knew his birds. He was a very nice, interesting and knowledgeable person.

I knew Bob through the Sierra Club in Beaumont, Texas--he was a lovely person, bright, friendly and helpful to others--he was on the first Grand Canyon backpack I did, and I appreciated his experience and help. Blessings to you and your family, Trudy--

Dear Trudy, Lana Hildabridle and I were in folk dance with you and Bob in Beaumont. In addition, I had the pleasure of working with Bob at DuPont for many years. He was kind, caring, patient, extremely intelligent, and a true gentleman. The world lost a very honorable man with Bob's passing; God gained a wonderful soul in heaven. My deepest sympathy to you and your entire family.
May God bless you and your family,
Janet Densmore

Dear Trudy, I have fond memories of Bob as a folk dancer. When I was a new dancer, he was always willing to dance with me and teach me the steps. He was endlessly patient, kind, and good-humored. I have always thought of him with fondness. Please accept my condolences on your loss. You were so fortunate to have him in your life for so long.

We are so sorry for your loss. I only remember seeing Mr. Madrulli a few times when Uncle Pete and Aunt Cindy brought us over. I was little, but do remember the smile he always greeted us with. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family and may God Bless You All.

Dear Trudy and Family, I just heard yesterday of Bob's passing. I worked with Bob for over 25 years at the Beaumont Works and always found him friendly, generous and extremely helpful. He was a very smart man, with good ideas and a very positive attitude. He was definitely "one of the good guys". I'm sure he will be sorely missed. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

I've known Bob for 20 years. Initially, when he and Trudy led the international folk dance group in Beaumont. Then, latterly when Nai and I moved to Austin. He was always such fun to be around, so enthusiastic about everything. He'll be sorely missed.

Dear Trudy and Family: I was saddened to learn that Bob had passed. Bob was a good Chemical Engineer, a good supervisor and a good friend. He leaves good remembrances for all who knew him. He was skilled in many things. I am honored to have known him and to have worked with him. Please accept Ann and my sympathies.

Dear Trudy and family,
Bob Madrulli, was a very unique man. He must have made a great husband and father.
I became acquainted with Bob at DuPont Beaumont Works and I got to know him as a close friend when we were on the hiking trips to Grand Canyon National Park and the Weminuche Wilderness in the San Juan Mountains in southwest Colorado. First we would spend 24 hours together in a van driving to the trailhead. Bob enjoyed the whole trip with his photography, his interest in birds and the rocks he encountered. Bob would relax with his pipe in the evenings at the campfire. Bob was different. When we stopped at restaurants on the trips. While the group were eating hamburgers, chicken fried steak, Bob would order lamb. Then I found out Bob was a great gardener and a great furniture maker. What a guy!!!
Knowing Bob will always be a fond memory of mine.
Hello to Trudy,
Trudy you were a real trooper. Making a horseback trip in to the Weminuche Wilderness and the van camping and day hikes into southern Utah. You had the perfect name to add to Madrulli. I always enjoy saying “Trudy Madrulli. Thanks to you and Bob for being such nice friends and thanks for entertaining the outings groups in your home….
Sincerely, Charlie Crabbe
