We met Scott and his family through school and baseball. We spent a lot of time with the Gilpin family as we supported our boys through many games. We then spent more time with Scott as we supported our sons through High School football. Scott's love for music was shared with our son, Nolan, who is also pationate about music. Scott would call Nolan now and then and check on him and his music long after our boys had graduated. He was so kind and caring to check on our son. He truly loved him.
The Gilpin family is in our thoughts and prayers. We will keep Scott's memory alive as we continue to pray over him and his family.

I know for me it was devastating when I heard the news and can't imagine how the family felt but I wanted to give my condolences and let you know a huge void has been put in the Cedar Park community and certainly in his boys lives. I have too many fond memories of hanging out with Scott to even bring up but I will always remember his infectious smile and how much he cared about his son's and activities they were involved in.

We met Scott 12 years ago in California when our boys, Mac and Johnny, played baseball together, on the team my husband coached. Scott would help out at practices throwing the balls to the boys during warm up and Michelle would be sitting on a blanket with the other Moms with their two younger boys. Such a nice family and you could see how Scott enjoyed watching his son play baseball.
The one thing I will remember about Scott, was when he came up to my husband and thanked him for picking Mac to play on his team. Scott said, "Mac wasn't sure he wanted to continue playing baseball after this season, and you made a difference. Now Mac wants to continue playing baseball and I want to thank YOU for that because you made an impact on his decision." I thought that was so neat of Scott to say to my husband. Thank you for that memory, Scott!
How your family ended up moving to the same town in this BIG state of Texas, as we did, is beyond belief. Johnny and Mac ran in to each other in Middle school and Johnny came home and said, "guess who moved to Cedar Park Mom?" Mac Gilpin!
What a nice family!
Sending prayers to the boys, Michelle and the Gilpin family.
God Bless you and Rest In Peace, Scott.

We here at Twin Creeks are all so sad to hear of Scott's passing. He was a fun member of our HOA social committee. He was willing to wear crazy costumes to make the events more fun for the kids. I have attached several pics and a video that I took at the Easter event where he was the Mad Hatter. He will surely be missed. Our condolences to the whole family.

Scott and family were our next door neighbors on Armatrading Drive in Cedar Park for 3 years. He introduced himself on the day we purchased the home, and was a good friend and neighbor. We will miss Scott and are very sorry for your loss.

I had the great pleasure of working with Scott during our time with Best Buy's International team. He was a wonderful friend and colleague. A smile for everyone and always very positive and upbeat. Rest In Peace Scott and peace and healing for his family.
