Tyler HUNKIN Obituary
October 5, 1986 - April 22, 2016
Our beloved son and brother, Tyler Geoffrey Hunkin, unexpectedly passed away on April 22, 2016. As a family we are heartbroken and devastated by his loss. Ty was a kind and gentle soul and above all, loyal and devoted to his family, teammates and a wonderful friend. He was an exceptionally talented soccer player, guitarist, writer and business professional that brought creativity and "heart" to all his endeavors. The family asks the Austin community to rally together in support of the de-escalation of senseless violence and aggressive force. In solidarity, we can create a safe, peaceful and harmonious city. A celebration of life for Ty will be held on Saturday, April, 30th at 1:00PM at Unity Church, 5501 W US HWY 290 Service Rd, Austin. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in his honor to Lone Star Soccer Club, 12325 Highmeadow Dr, Bldg 1-200, Austin, TX 78750. We wish him well as he transitions into the great beyond and merges in the ocean of eternal bliss and love. He leaves behind a legacy of love and an indelible mark on many souls.

He and I were together for many long years, meeting and taking him under many wings, and has become a valiant friend and source of creativity. More mourn his loss than even this obituary states. Huah'em, Ty. I hope you find peace. -AJ
