Jroo....you were so awesome! You were such a blessing to me, and added so much value to my life. I remember when I would struggle with things, you would always encourage me and let me know that you believed in me. You would always get on my case when I would speak negatively about myself, LOL! I remember you went to mens conference on...e year and returned with a book by Sis. Joy Haney entitled "The Power of Speaking Positive". You gave it to me, and said "Promise me you will read this". I remember reading that book from cover to cover, and learning the true meaning of speaking positive things in my life, instead of always thinking negatively about myself. I still think of you when I am encouraging others to speak positively. I now pray continually that God would use me to speak encouragement and life into those around me....all because you taught me this valuable lesson during one of the hardest times of my life. Jroo, "thank you" doesn't even begin to describe how I feel, but I do want to thank you for your friendship, thank you for allowing me to be your Youth Pastor, thank you for all of the hilarious uncontrollable laughs we shared, thank you fo...r DQ blizzard nights and marshmallow fights, thank you for your goofy smiles and crazy stand-up comedy, thank you for your encouragement, thank you for making a difference in my life, and thank you for teaching me about the importance of Speaking Positive! I love you Jroo, and will forever miss you.

Jroo we miss you so much! So sorry that our time had to be cut short-- it's certainly not what we had in mind. I told your mom that I was really gonna miss those foot rubs! Wish I could bribe you with ice cream one more time.

when I finally convinced you to write in my slam book you wrote, " Well, I'm writing a note to you, because you won't leave me alone until I do. You shouldn't be so concerned with your outward appearance, you look perfectly fine. Well, I gu...ess that's all I have to say!" Of course when I read it I was like "That's all??!!" haha...but it made me realize in my fourteen year old mind that maybe I shouldn't put so much faith in my outward appearance. And it is something that has stuck with me since then. I’ve cried over and over again since I heard the news, but I have also laughed because of the sweet, sweet memories that I miss…I miss the game nights we had, your laugh, acting like complete morons just to make someone laugh, you laughing ...at me even when my story/joke was ridiculously corny, the candy shopping sprees at wal-mart with Trevy and Sherilyn at 1am in the morning, birthday shopping and you telling me to go away or I wasn‘t going to get a birthday present lol...I just wish that I could have talked with you maybe one more time…You'll always be in my heart and in my memories.

Sharon ?

P.S. To each individual of the Thames family: you are in my prayers each and every day. I love each and everyone of ya’ll from the bottom of my heart.

Drew, you brightened my day up every time we talked. When you laughed I couldn't help but join in! I'm chuckling just thinking about your many different laughs, especially that loud, boisterous laugh of yours...whenever I heard the news it felt like a ton of bricks was tied to my heart and let go. I couldn't believe it…I always admire...d your love for God, your love for your family and your desire to make a difference in each and every individuals life that you came into contact with. I just want to let you know that you have encouraged and made a difference in my life in ways you'll never know. I remember one time, I had a "slam book" that I had all my friends write in, but it really wasn’t a slam book because slam books are usually used for people to “slam” you, but anyway,

Drew-
I've cried for a week along with your family and friends that loved you so much. The love in your family is truly amazing. Your Mom knows how special you all are to me and I told her that when I think of you I will just smile. I'll remember your kind hearted gentle innocence and your big wide goofy grin! You will be missed bu...t never forgotten.

I remember the joy that you gave to others. It was such a gift from God. You are a gift from God. I know that you are home now but the legacy that you left here will continue on. It continues on through the lives of those that your life has touched. Through the pain of not having you here we know that our strength is God and our hope is heaven. Love ya and I'll see you again....

Drew has been my friend for almost 2 years. I have never had the privelege of meeting him face to face. I know him through one of his favorite hobbies, World of Warcraft. He was always humorous and happy. I will miss him very much. My prayers go out to the family.

Our prayers are with the family of Drew. Our kids started out in life as friends and have recently been reunited. Drew was at our house just a week ago and he was a delight. I know that he is in heaven with friends and family who went before him. He will be watching over his precious nieces and nephews. May God be with you and comfort you in the years to come.

Thames Family,

I live in Brownsboro and passed your son's accident sight after it happened. Your son is my son's age and I have not gotten him out of my thoughts since he passed. I pray for him daily and to you and your family, I hope you find peace.
