Earl Dahlheim Obituary

Earl Robert Dahlheim Earl Robert Dahlheim was born to Anna and Emil Dahlheim on May 29, 1920 in Willmar, Minnesota and passed away on December 7th in Austin, Texas. He was the youngest of four children, sister, Rosamond, and brothers, Maurice and Roland. They have preceded him in death. After graduation from Willmar High School where he enjoyed his studies and playing football and baseball, he attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. In 1942 he enlisted in the Army Air Force and attained the rank of Captain. Earl was employed in Chicago by Shell Oil Company, Symington-Wayne and Dresser Industries. He loved his work in sales of petroleum equipment. He and his family lived in Wilmette, Illinois and were members of Trinity Methodist Church for 40 years. Retiring from Dresser in 1989, he and his wife, Burta, moved to Austin, Texas where they enjoyed many years. Earl is survived by his wife, Burta; and his children, Robert Forsberg Dahlheim of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bruce Dahlheim and wife Lee of Sugar Grove, Illinois, Patricia Dahlheim Gray and her husband James, and John Dahlheim and wife Robin, all of Austin. He has six beloved grandchildren. Private funeral services for his family are planned. Memorials may be sent to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445, or the charity of your choice.
