Ernest Andrew Alexander Ernest Andrew Alexander, age 56, passed away on June 21, 2008 at the Trinity Care Center in Round Rock, Texas after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on February 28, 1952 to Twillie Irene Alexander Buehring and Jerry Alexander in Austin, Texas. He attended McCallum High School and was a member of First Baptist Church of Austin. He lived a long life of many challenges due to the illness of schizophrenia; however his illness also brought him many friendships throughout his life. He is survived by his sisters, Martha Lane of Abilene, TX, Linda Dufner and husband Rock of Briggs, TX, and Dorthy Paul and husband Frank of Austin, TX; his stepfather, Ewald Buehring of Tyler, TX; and his aunt, Mabel Scates of Tyler, TX; along with numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. David Brown for his friendship and care through the many years of Ernest's illness. Also, thanks to Family Elder Care for their assistance during the last few years. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the Chapel of Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Austin Memorial Park.
