Fred T. Cleveland, Sr. "Freddie" Fred T. Cleveland, Sr. was born the fourth child of twelve on July 16, 1936 in Austin, Texas to Trudie Cleveland and Antonia Brown- Cleveland. Fred T. Cleveland, Sr. attended the old L. C. Anderson High School in Austin, Texas. He was a member of the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge. He met and married Earnestine Loving, to this union three children were born: Brenda, Fred, and Donna. He also met and married Shirley Spruell to this union one child was born: Michael. He also met and married Fannie Ruth Evans, to this union one child was born: William. Fred T. Cleveland loved to cook. He would cook for and help prepare for family occasions. He worked many years for Sid's restaurant as head chef. He took perfection in what he did. Fred T. Cleveland dedicated his life in the ministry at an early age. He loved to sing and preach. He sung with his brothers and sisters in the group "Austin Wonders". The group would perform over the over the radio on Sunday nights before he would preach the gospel. Fred T. Cleveland was preceded in death by: his parents, Trudie Cleveland and Antonia Cleveland; his brother, James Cleveland; his sisters, Curly Cleveland, Lottie Lovings, Florine Wiley, and Lorene Walker; and one great-granddaughter, Jazmine Green. Fred T. Cleveland, Sr. leaves to cherish his memory: his daughters, Brenda Cleveland-Johnson (Alfred) and Donna Cleveland-Johnson (James) both of Austin, Texas; sons, Fred T. Cleveland, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, Michael Cleveland of Modesto, California, and William Cleveland of Austin, Texas; 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; three sisters, Georgia Wheeler (Sam), Toni Lynn Rhodes both of Phoenix, Arizona, and Shirley Tyler of Austin, Texas; three brothers, Kenneth Cleveland of Georgetown, Texas, Trudie Cleveland, Jr. (Sheryl), and Waymon Cleveland both of Phoenix, Arizona; many nieces & nephews & a host of other relatives & friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Deliverance Temple in Jesus' Name 1006 W. Koenig Lane. Public visitation from 1:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, January 11, 2013 at Mercer-Memorial Chapel/Fuller-Sheffield Funeral Services 2808 E. M.L.K. Jr. Blvd. Interment will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks, Pflugerville.
