Gerald M. Latimer Obituary
Dr. Gerald M Latimer, DDS Dr. Gerald M. Latimer born December 7, 1927 passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on November 19, 2012. Dr. Latimer began his education at The University of Texas at Austin at the age of sixteen, and graduated number one in his class from The University of Texas Dental School as a member of the class of 1950. Dr. Latimer served his country as a member of the Air Force, and served the Austin community for 49 years as a caring and compassionate dentist. Dr. Latimer was the treasurer of The Wedding Ring Class at United Methodist Church for over thirty years, and volunteered at The Austin State School. Dr. Latimer is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Marilyn Latimer of Austin, his daughter and her husband, Debbie and Mark Hewson of Austin, his son Mark Latimer of Oklahoma, and his son and his wife Cliff and Suzanne Latimer of Austin. Dr. Latimer is also survived by his loving grandchildren Travis Bloch, Amy Latimer, Devin Roush, Greg Latimer, and Dana Latimer. In accordance with Dr. Latimer's wishes, there will be no services.
