Obituary Condolences

Jack L. Agnew 1927 ~ 2009 Jack L. Agnew, 82, of Pflugerville, Texas, formerly of Indianapolis, IN, passed away December 23, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Betty: both of his parents; and one brother. He is survived by two sons, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald L. Agnew of Pflugerville and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin L. Agnew of Indianapolis, IN; one brother, Mr. Marion Agnew of Mooresville, IN; four granddaughters, and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Agnew was born August 20, 1927, in Indianapolis, IN. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a 50 year Mason with membership in Norton Moses Masonic Lodge No. 336 AF&AM and the Austin Scottish Rite. He was a member of Pflugerville First United Methodist Church. Mr. Agnew retired from the railroad after 41 years of service in 1988. Special thanks to his nurse, Brenda, and the staff of Angel Heart Hospice, Dr. Dan Baker, and the staff of Central Texas Caregivers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2009. Funeral services will follow in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Monte Marshall of Pflugerville First United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be at Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Cemetery with Masonic Burial Rites under the auspices of Norton Moses Masonic Lodge.
