Leon L. Lott Obituary
Leon L. Lott The Reverend, Leon L. Lott, 74, of Pflugerville, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday morning, January 22, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. After graduating from Lulling High School, he joined the U.S. Army, where he served as a field radio repair man for four years. His military service led him to civil service with N.A.S.A., where he had the privilege of working on the Nation's First Man in Space program in the 1960's. In 1962, he married the love of his life, Kathryn Louise Pannell. After his work with N.A.S.A., Leon began a life-long career and passion in ministry, including the founding of Living Faith Worship Center of Elgin with his wife Kathryn. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathryn L. Lott; two sons and one daughter, Laren Lott and wife, Dana, Sherry Miller, and Christopher Lott and wife Nicole; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. The family will receive guests at the Family Worship Center of Elgin from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a prayer service conducted at 7:00 PM Friday, January 25th. A Celebration of Leon's life will be conducted at the Family Worship Center of Elgin under the auspices of Living Faith Worship Center of Elgin at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 26th with the Reverend, D.R. Luce officiating. Interment is scheduled with Military Honors at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, Texas at 1:00 PM Monday, January 28th. Arrangements and care are entrusted to
