Odie E. Ainsworth Odie E. Ainsworth passed away in the early morning hours on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at West Oaks Rehab Health Center. He was born to Arlin and Rosa Ainsworth on September 3, 1923 in Marthaville, LA. He was a man who never met a stranger; to him everyone was the same and worthy of respect. Odie was a land developer for 50 years. He developed land all over the United States but his biggest role was in Kingsland, TX. He was always willing to work a deal out with his clients so that they to could experience the "American Dream". He enjoyed golfing with friends, skiing and going to antique car shows. He had a good and lived it to the fullest. He was preceded in death by his son Mike Ainsworth. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Robin Ainsworth of Lakeway, TX; his sister, Stell Boyer of Houston, TX; his stepson, Patrick Ainsworth of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd Austin, TX 78752.. http://www.mem.com
