Bobby and I ran together in the early '70's. Those were different times and we definitely lived for the day. I think of Bobby often and tried for many years to learn of his whereabouts. When he and I were about 16 years old, while at a party, he showed me how to rap string around a needle, dip it in India ink and create a tattoo. Bobby's left arm has a tattoo that reads "BC". My tattoo reads "RD". It took me a while to find a wife whose first name began with the letter "R". Lucky for me I married a girl named 'Rebecca'. But most times when I look at my tattoo, I flash back to that party when my 'artistic' friend taught me how to give myself a tattoo. I plan to be at Bobby's memorial tomorrow.

Bobby came to me as Robert in Austin, Texas several years ago. I loved him greatly and will miss him forever. Truely wish I could be there now. He always made me laugh. He was a special and unique soul. God Bless and keep him.

Godspeed to Roberto's family and friends. May peaceful smiles embrace you through this journey. Thank you for sharing Roberto and his genius way of laughing at oneself when emotions/moods got the better of oneself. What an extraordinary penchant to dispel with laughter and light, all things gloomy. Well who are we going to share our grumpy monster go away spray with now? Roberto, you made the world a better place, my friend, cheers until we meet again. Godspeed. We love ya...
