Obituary Condolences

Frank Thomas Rackley Frank Thomas Rackley, age 69, of Austin, passed away on Dec. 2, 2009. He received his civil engineering degree from UT in Austin were he met his loving wife of 43 years, Johnnye Irene Zumwalt. He worked at the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department designing state parks all across Texas. He retired from the Texas Dept. of Transportation after 24 years. He also taught drafting at ACC for several years. He served as Pastor to the Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Andice, Texas for thirteen years. He was an Elder at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Austin, Texas. He was a 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnye Irene Rackley in 2003. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy A. Mccown and husband James of Round Rock, his son Mark T. Rackley and wife Michelle of Rydal, Georgia, his sister Mary Jeanine Holmquist and husband Stan of Heath, Ohio, and 5 grandchildren. With numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm, Monday December 7, 2009 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home on North Lamar. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, December 8, 2009 at First Cumberland Presbyterian, 6800 Woodrow Ave. Interment to follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church Andice, Tx. and Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa Fl. 33607.
