Zula Vizard Obituary
Zula Williams Vizard Zula Williams Vizard, age 101, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. She was a graduate of Main Ave. High School in San Antonio. While attending the University of Texas she was known as "Geetsy" Williams. She served as President of the Orange Jackets in 1935 and and earned her Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts degrees from the University of Texas. Zula was a professor on the English faculty at San Antonio College where she retired as Professor Emeritus of English. Zula was preceded in death by her husband, George Vizard, III and son, George John Vizard, IV. She is survived by her son Edward Vizard and wife, Cassie; grandson, Guy Vizard; also, daughter-in-law, Mariann Wizard, all of Austin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 22nd from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough. GRAVESIDE SERVICE:TUESDAY, JANUARY 22, 2013, 1:00 P.M.
