DAVILA, Edward "Ewie"

1940-2014

Edward "Ewie" Davila, passed away on February 15, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Edward was born in Austin, February 21, 1940, to Dan and Della. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dan, Richard and Joe; sister, Bertha Neghiassan, and beloved in-laws Alfred and Trina Orosco. Edward is survived by his loyal and tender-hearted wife, Mary Alice; daughters, Gina Estrada, Donna Davila and Gilda Coppedge; sister, Olga Perales; and 15 grandchildren. He will be sorely missed.

Pallbearers: Daniel Davila III, Joe Balandran, Julian Orosco, Cruz Barba, Jacob Perez, Fidel Estrada IV, Michael Ysla and Danny Villegas Jr. Honorary pallbearers: Alfred Orosco, Danny Villegas III, Victor Mendoza, and Moses Madero.

Rosary will be held at Mission Funeral (Cesar Chavez) on February 19 at 7pm. Mass at St. Julia on February 20 at 10am. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
