1930 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
ZORNICK, Joseph

Joseph Zornick, 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 in Austin Texas. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and was a resident of Austin since 1974.

Joe was a former owner of American Printers in Austin. He was a past president of the Austin Northwest Sertoma Club and past VFW Post Commander. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and is the recipient of a Purple Heart.

Joe was predeceased by his parents and two children. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Zornick; daughter Lee Rabbit from Elgin, TX; son John Zornick from Sandpoint, Idaho; and grandson Joe Zornick from Sandpoint, Idaho.

The family wishes to thank Christopher House Hospice care and the doctors and nurses of Seton Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 4th at 2:00 P.M. in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home 6100 N. Lamar Blvd. Austin, Texas 78752. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Austin Northwest Sertoma Club and Assistance League of Austin.
