In recognition for his years of service he received the Diocesan Lumen Gentium Award and was also recognized as a special guest by Bishop Vasquez at the Rededication of the Bells Ceremony.

Special appreciation for the staff at Park Bend Health Center in Austin for the care and support they gave to Albert during his last years there.
