WITZSCHE, Arina E.

Arina E. (Kelm) Witzsche, age 92, passed away Thursday, July 31 in Austin, Texas. She was born to Herman and Emma (Wagner) Kelm on March 17, 1922 in Shive, Texas. She was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul Lutheran Church of Shive.

On November 18, 1943 Arina married Norman Witzsche in Trinity Lutheran Church of Pottsville, Texas. They were blessed with two children, Wayne and Debbie. She was a Christian woman and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Arina was preceded in death by Norman, her husband of over 68 years. She is survived by son, Wayne Witzsche and wife Nancy of Austin; daughter Debbie Blankenburg and husband, Larry of Paige, Tx; four grandchildren, Alicia Brewer and husband, Todd of Cedar Park; Jeff Blankenburg of Houston; Jennifer Patton and husband, Mike of Austin and Larissa Grubbs and husband, Justin of Livingston, Tx and great-granddaughter, Taylor Grubbs of Livingston.

A visitation with the family was held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas. A funeral service will be conducted today, at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills, Austin, Texas.
