PETERSON Jr., Rehn C.|
The Lord called His faithful servant, Rehn Peterson, home quite unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He was a wonderful husband and father who deeply cherished his wife and sons. His contagious smile, witty sense of humor, and unconditional love reminds us to treasure every minute we have, not taking anything for granted and to embrace life without fear.
Rehn was selfless in his relationships with family and friends, putting others needs before his own and always seeing the good in people. We take comfort in knowing that his gentile spirit will continue to watch over us. He served as a Deacon and faithful leader of the Tuesday Morning Men's Bible study at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church. He was passionate for these and numerous other ministries, where his light and faith in Christ shone the brightest.
Rehn was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 17, 1952 and entered into eternal rest with our Lord and Savior on August 10, 2014. His father, Rehn and mother, Martha, preceded him in death. He is survived by the loves of his life; high school sweetheart and wife of 40 years, Holly, and his two sons Rehn III and Brad. Also survived by his sister, Lynn (husband Dick); brother, Kim (wife Melissa); nieces and nephews, Lissa, Kipp, Kasey and Zach.
Please join us in a celebration of Rehn's life on Saturday, August 16 at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow, at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church, 7127 Bee Caves Road, Austin, TX.
