Obituary Condolences

Trudy E. Rowsey Trudy E. Rowsey. This fabulously magnificent woman, born February 12, 1964, left this earth much too soon on Saturday, February 14, 2009. Trudy attended St. Austin Catholic elementary school, O' Henry middle school, graduated from Austin High School and received her B.A. in Liberal Arts from San Diego State University. Trudy knew a lot about love - how to share it, how to receive it and how to live it. She was a loving, compassionate wife, mother and friend. She always expressed her love for her family and friends. Trudy never left the house, or ended a conversation or email, without saying, "I love you". That love, and God's love, will sustain us as we go through this life without her. She loved the outdoors, big dogs and horses. A petite "Barbie" of a woman, she was freakishly strong! Trudy would work cattle with some of the best cowboys out on the William's Ranch. Like a true cowgirl, she had an independent spirit. She was not shy about anything and always spoke her mind and her heart. She would say the things that you really did not want to hear, but knew you needed to hear; and Trudy was the only one that was strong enough to say it. She said it with love. Trudy knew what it meant to truly love someone. She had a wonderfully unique way of making people feel special. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Seareatha Matetich. She is survived by her husband, Chuck Rowsey, and their sons, Thomas Randall, Walker Rowsey and Michael Rowsey. There will be a celebration of Trudy's life on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the family home located at 203 Oxbow Trail in Marble Falls, Texas.
