Larry Bargsley Obituary

Larry Swain Bargsley Larry Swain Bargsley, formerly of Austin, TX. passed away on July 26, 2012 in Little Elm, TX. at the age of 59. Larry was the oldest son of James S. and Mary Helen Bargsley. He was born in Austin November 22, 1952. Larry attended schools in Austin and was active in band and theater, he graduated from Lanier High School in 1971. Larry was involved in scouting and became an Eagle Scout. He was baptized in the Methodist Church. Larry earned an associate degree in nursing from the UT Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. and received his Bachelor of Science of Nursing Degree from the UT Department of Nursing San Antonio TX. Larry worked in the ER department for several Austin hospitals. He also worked for Ross Perot Enterprises in Plano, TX as a Computer Management Specialist. He is survived by his significant other Patti Kebsch and her daughter Elizabeth, father and mother James and Mary Helen Bargsley, brothers Tim Bargsley and wife Elaine, Bryan Bargsley and wife Carolyn, nephews Chase and wife Jennifer Bargsley, James Bargsley and Greg Payne. Larry's wishes upon his death were to be cremated, his wishes were granted. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 18, 2012, at 5:00pm at Bee Creek United Methodist Church, 3000 Bee Creek Rd., Spicewood, TX 78669 phone 512-264-2225, web site www.beecreekumc.org For those wishing to give a memorial in Larry's honor, the family suggests Bee Creek United Methodist Church.

Larry and I attended Brentwood together and I have many fond classroom and birthday party memories throughout our elementary years of friendship. My most sincere sympathy goes out to his family and family of friends, who will be in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Larry.
