Cameron Reid Hansen Cameron Reid Hansen, 40, of Round Rock, TX, passed away Monday, November 12, 2012, in Dallas, TX, at Baylor Hospital. He suffered from pulmonary problems as a result of an immune deficiency. Born November 25, 1971, he was the beloved son of John and Sharon Hansen. He was born in Rochester, MN, and moved to College Station in 1981. He graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 1990. He married Sarah Biles in 2002. They have one son, Erik Reid Hansen, born in 2009. With a 20-year career in the food service industry, Cameron was known for his cooking and restaurant critiques, his interest in autos, and his ability to find anything on the internet. A devoted husband and father, Cameron was especially proud of his son. Cameron Hansen is survived by his wife Sarah and their son Erik Reid. Other survivors include parents John F. and Sharon Hansen of College Station, and sister Dana Mixa, her husband Luis and their son Jakob of Bryan. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and very dear friends also survive him. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 18 at Peace Lutheran Church in College Station with Pastor Steve Rieke officiating. Cameron's life was extended by two years because of the generosity of an organ donor. The family encourages others to consider organ donation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Immune Deficiency Foundation, 40 West Chesapeake Avenue, Suite 308, Towson, Maryland 21204 or to the Southwest Transplant Alliance, 5489 Blair Road, Dallas TX 75231.
