Jon Robinson Hall Jon Robinson Hall, born April 26, 1947 in Monahans, Texas to Noble & Kathryn Hall, passed away on Friday, February 8, 201. Jon is survived by his wife, Debra Herron Hall of Austin, Texas; son Zachary Benjamin Hall of Fulton, Texas; daughter Amy Yvonne Vienneau (Andy) of Hopkinton, Massachusetts; step-son, Mikhail Lerma of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Emmah Ann Hall, Jackson Reid Vienneau and Beau Robinson Vienneau, and Sophia Lee Lerma; sister, Sharon Hall Munch (Paul), Austin, Texas; and brother, Allan Hall, Granbury, Texas. Jon grew up in Irving, Texas, graduating from Irving High School in 1965. He attended East Texas State University (Texas A&M) and then joined the Marines in 1967. Jon served as a Marine sergeant during his tour of duty in Vietnam in 1969. Graduating from University of Texas - Pan American with an accounting degree in May of 1973, and moving to Houston, Jon worked within several circles of Houston business development during the 1970's into the 1990's. Jon enjoyed archery and model plane flying, eventually earning his pilot's license. He could play a pretty good game of tennis and golf. He liked both sailing and snow skiing and took opportunity as it came to enjoy both. "Settling down", Jon took up motorcycle riding and billiards. Jon is also mourned by a nephew, many nieces and many, many dear friends. Very special thanks are given to lifelong friends, Mike and Marianne Harmes (Austin, TX), Bruce and Linda Henning (Minneapolis, MN), and Roger and Trish Huder (Orlando, FL) who were there for Jon to the end. The family appreciates your friendship and your love. A celebration of love and Jon's life will be held at the Onion Creek Country Club, Austin, Texas on Sunday, March 3 at 2:30 p.m.Semper Fi In lieu of flowers please give to Wounded Warrior Project..
