Lovie Van Bradshaw Jr. Obituary
Lovie Van Bradshaw, Jr. Lovie Van Bradshaw Jr., was born November 15, 1934 and was affectionately known as L.V. or Sonny and grew up in a family dedicated to serving the Lord. Lovie attended Anderson High School and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He received his Bachelor's of Arts from Huston Tillotson College. He retired from the State of Texas after 30 years and operated a successful janitorial service. He was the father of Lesia Perkins, Regina Durden, Nicole Carter, and Rhonda Rhodes-Pitts; and the brother of Ethel Dilworth and Beulah Jackson. L.V. loved life and loved people. He had an open door, an open heart and was always ready to prepare a mean bar-b-que. We will miss you, but we know that you resting now. Visitation today, 1-7 pm at King-Tears Mortuary. Services Saturday, April 6, 2:00 pm at Nineteenth Street Baptist Church. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
