Seven years. You will never ever be forgotten

More than five years have passed and yet I still miss you with all my heart

Signing this two years later when I was just looking to see if Janina was on FB. My search began just now because I found out Selena Gomez has lupus, and a friend of Janina's and mine had lupus back at A&M, I remembered, and so began the search.

Janina was a wonderful person I will always remember - sweet, funny and kind. I knew her in 1992 and '93 when I was doing grad school at A&M. I would sometimes hang out at her house and we would listen to music, or play a bit of music in Uglinoize, a band that only existed in her living room, or we'd go out to house parties with friends. I never forgot what a special person she was, and it doesn't surprise me all the genuine love that is shown to her here.

I am truly heartbroken to hear about this and I hope she rests in peace.

Dear Janina, may your soul be blessed knowing that your spirit carries on in the lives you touched and by the things you have done. You will be forever missed, but never forgotten.

Janina,
You were a comet of light, blazing a path through our little Austin universe, always ready to help with a smile and a hand. May the memory of your good deeds endure and live in our hearts and souls for years to come, as we honor a life well lived. May your soul be sealed in the Book of Life and may you be reunited with everyone you have ever loved and who has loved you.

One of the best decisions I ever made in my life was to go and talk to the girl in study hall who was drawing pictures in her notebook. We became friends fast at 14 through our love of music and good natured rebellion. We have seen each other through so much over the years. I look forward to seeing you again one day, Bud.

Janina, it seemed that I would see your big, beautiful, welcoming smile just about everywhere I went. If there was an event, I would usually invite you, and if by chance I didn't, you would be there anyway... somehow you seemed to always know all the happenings in Austin!

When I remember you I will always remember a woman who lived, truly lived, life to it's fullest. I hope that I can live my life in the way you lived yours.

Thank you Janina for sharing your many gifts which include those of light, love and friendship.
