Donna Lynn Hodde was born on November 8, 1946 in Brady, Texas and went to her Heavenly home on Monday, January 6, 2014 at age 67.
Donna graduated from McCallum High School in Austin, Texas in 1964 and immediately started working for the Texas State Comptrollers. She has been there 47 years.
Donna had two loves in her life, a son Justin Alan Reichenau, son of Hal Reichenau, born on November 30, 1977 and a daughter Jill Emily Hodde, daughter of Harvey Hodde, born on June 29, 1984. Her heart became completely full when she became a grandma to Rylan and Landry Reichenau. Austin Alan Reichenau is expected to arrive any day now and all three boys now have a guardian angel watching over them for the rest of their lives.
Donna spent most of her free time traveling with friends, bowling, attending concerts with her daughter and driving to Houston to watch her grandsons play every sport imaginable. They were her pride and joy!
Donna is preceded in death by her father Walter Rohde and mother Oveta Rohde. She is survived by her son Justin Alan Reichenau of Houston; daughter Jill Emily Hodde of Hutto and her partner Sookie Rubio; sister, Nancy Hampton of Round Rock; grandchildren, Rylan and Landry Reichenau of Houston; niece, Lisa Dove and husband Scott of Hutto; niece, Lesli Dove and husband Tracy of Austin; nephew, Scott Hampton and wife Crystal of Round Rock; great-nephews, Trey and Easton Dove; great-nieces, Shelby Dove and Kylie Hampton; cousin, Cindy Hamilton of Brady; extended family and many close friends.
Pallbearers will be Chris Moya, Timmy House, Ralph Pleasant, Wilson Day, Cory Jeter, William Henderson, Jeffery Maas and Beau Edge.
There will be a visitation from 5-8 pm, Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Beck Funeral Home on Priem Lane, Pflugerville, Texas.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, January 10, 2014 at 2:30 pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church on Yager Lane, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Memorial Park, Pflugerville, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
