1970 - 2014 Obituary Condolences

Nicole Yvonne Anderson-Godwin, 43, of Austin, TX passed away Saturday March 8th. She was born in Detroit, MI on October 19th, 1970 to Skip and Yu-Yeh Greene.

Nicole graduated from Judson High School and went on to a rich career in the Hospitality Industry. Nicole took extreme pride in her career working as a corporate director of revenue management.

She was married to Christopher W. Godwin and her greatest loves where her incredible children, loving husband, and precious Maltese puppies. In her spare time Nicole volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) as protecting children and helping families through difficult times were two of her greatest passions. That was her essence: a wonderfully beautiful and precious woman with a heart bigger than Texas.

Nicole is survived by her husband Christopher and her children Preston and Prescott; her father Skip and stepmother Jo Ellen Greene; her mother Ye-Yeh and stepfather Edward Terry; sister Michelle and husband Ritchie M. Bang; brother Bryan Alan Simmons and wife Linnet Castillo; sister Tarina Reynolds; sister Lindsey Greene; and many nieces and nephews.

Her astonishing spirit, unbelievable joy, and endless talents will be celebrated at a memorial service on Tuesday, March 18th at the Weed-Corley-Fish Lake Travis Chapel, public visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am with the memorial service to follow at 411 RR 620 South.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, please donate to an organization dear to her heart: Court Appointed Special Advocate, CASA of Travis County, Inc., www.casatravis.org
