Alexander O'BRIEN Obituary
Alexander "Alex" Jude O'Brien passed away January 19, 2015 in Austin, Texas, after a severe and protracted illness. He was born on Dec. 11, 1986 in New York City, New York. He graduated from Westlake High School in Austin in 2005. He was a graduate and a Fulbright Scholar from Georgetown University in Washington D.C, where he obtained a degree in International Business.
Alex worked in multiple business ventures around the world, including helping his brother Jack and fellow musicians launch and manage the band, "The Bright Light Social Hour". Alex spoke several languages and loved to travel. He was also an accomplished musician and a true humanitarian.
Alex O'Brien is survived by his father Dr. Robert O'Brien and mother, Patricia Quijas Corzo, his stepmother Lisa O'Brien, stepfather Dr. Richard White, his brothers Jack, and half- brothers Bobby, Eric, George, Phillip, and sister Aimee. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church (10205 Ranch Road 620 North, Austin, TX 78726) at 11:50am, Saturday, January 24.
