Obituary Condolences

Danny Escobedo Danny Escobedo left unexpectedly a beautiful autumn Sunday morning running on the streets of Austin, the city he loved. He is survived by his wife, Karen, who was at his side. He is also survived by his mother Lupe Escobedo, his sister and brother-in-law Carol and Leonard Gonzales and their child Laura Phelps, his brother and sister-in-law David and Kathy Escobedo and their children Matthew, Jessica, and Anna, his children Conal and Selena Rosanbalm, numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, along with a myriad of friends. Danny had a heart as big as Texas. He had the soul of an artist, creating beautiful furniture and music. He was an accomplished builder, creating some of the most beautiful homes in Austin. But more importantly, he was a builder of lasting love and friendship. Danny was preceded in death by his brother Dario Escobedo, Jr. and his father, Dario Escobedo, who taught Danny to be not only an artisan and craftsman, but also taught him to be a wonderful son, brother, husband, father and friend. Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 5, 2006, at Emmaus Catholic Church, Lakeway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmaus Catholic Church.
