Marvin Marion Fleharty Marvin Marion Fleharty of Austin, passed away July 12, 2007. He moved to Austin fifteen years ago from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he had lived for thirteen years. Marvin was an avid collector of watches, cars, and cameras. He was a licensed pilot and loved flying. Marvin loved hunting, photography, and long car rides. He was an established builder. He moved to Austin to retire but could not keep away from his love of designing and building homes. Marvin loved to rescue stray cats and is survived by Miss Braker Ln. and Big Mac, and his old dog Tipper. Marvin will be remembered for his tall tales and his big heart. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and the Masonic Lodge. Marvin is survived by his wife, Carmen Fleharty of Austin; brother, Terry Fleharty of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Elsie Wickham of Cottonwood Arizona; sons, Mike Fleharty and wife, Laura of Austin, and Pete Fleharty of South Carolina; daughters, Sharon Hirschler and Sally Holmburg, both of Denton, Cami Fleharty and Susan Harper and husband, Steve, all of Austin; and ten grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at St. Mary's Cathedral, 203 E. 10th St. Inurnment will be at the Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Mary in Panama City, Panama at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Texas Baptist Children's Home, 1101 North Mays, Round Rock, TX 78664.. http://www.mem.com
