John H. Reed
January 26, 1946 - February 13, 2014
John was born January 26, 1946 and passed away peacefully in his sleep February 13, 2014. He was a gentle and caring man. He was known for his unique personality and someone who left an impression on everyone he met. He is survived by his wife Linda, who he always loved and protected. He is also survived by his sister Patricia who he adored, loved his step daughter Tiffany through the good and the bad and was generous to a fault. He also always loved his 2 girls Kim and Mandy. A small service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery at 1:30 PM on Monday, February 24, 2014 - with a small celebration of life with family and close friends to follow. Arrangements by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.

It has been almost 50 years since I have seen John but he had the most charming personality of anyone I have ever met. I am so happy that he found happiness in his life but he left far too soon. I will never forget you, John.

Thank you to those of you that signed John's guestbook. It was good to see a couple names that I had not seen in a long time. The picture I included is how most of you will remember John and that is what he would want. Thank you for your kind words.

Linda--I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it to John's service today and finally meet you. He was a real "gentle giant" and loyal friend.
