Hadley, David  
George David Hadley September 18, 1953 - February 11, 2015 George David Hadley, 61, of Salem and Newport, died Wednesday, Feb. 11 2015. David was born in San Antonio, Texas to Patricia and John Hadley. He graduated from Molalla Union High School. In 1979 he married Janis Lyn Kerkman. They had two children, Isaac and Benjamin. David owned and operated Dave's Auto Repair and retired in 2013. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and barbecuing. He devoted himself to recovering from alcoholism and to the recovery of others. He was preceded in death by his sisters Susan Wiseman and Joan Shepard and his son Benjamin Paul Hadley. He is survived by his Son Isaac, brothers John and Matthew and much extended family and friends. Services to be held at 2pm on March 21 at the Forest Grove Senior Center, 2037 Douglas St. Forest Grove, OR.

Harmon, Warren  
Warren Crowell Harmon October 2, 1928 - February 26, 2015 Warren Crowell Harmon passed on peacefully at home Thursday, February 26, 2015. He is survived by his step-son, Carl England, his wife, Leticia, his granddaughter, Sophia, his step-daughter, Heather Milliet, husband Trip, granddaughters, Mollie Trubek and Bonnie Breese, and great granddaughters, Charlotte Garrison, Eleanor and Elizabeth Breese, as well as cousins John and David Tyack. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie, and second wife Pat. Born October 2, 1928 in Lynn, Massachusetts, and raised in Pittsfield, Mass., he was the son of the late Frank and Ella Harmon. His sister, Priscilla Harmon, is also deceased. Warren served in the United States Navy from 1946-1948. He then obtained his BA degree from Bowdin College in Maine, and his MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. He settled in southern California and began a career as a real estate broker, and ultimately settled in Oregon in the early 1970s, where he and friend Dave Archer established the Archer Harmon Real Estate partnership. Warren was passionate about travel to far-flung places, his purpose to make friends and learn from others around the globe. Warren was also a lover of geography, a voracious reader of history, bi-partisan politics, and biographies. His compassion, humility, and life-long commitment to the service of others was evident in his many years of volunteering as a Chemeketa College tutor, working at the Union Gospel Mission, and his dedication and active leadership within his local Christian Science Church. The myriad interest which he pursued included long-time membership in the Salem Tennis and Swim Club, Santiam Flycasters, Friendship Force, Salem Amateur Radio Club, and the Chemeketan Hiking Club. Warren will be greatly missed by all who know and love him, but we know he is traveling to a new life adventure, and each of us carries the light of his special spirit in our hearts. There will be a celebration of life gathering at the Salem, Christian Science Church on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 2:00pm. Church Address: 935 High Street SE, Salem 97302. Howard, Alonzo  
Alonzo E. Howard April 8, 1928 - February 7, 2015 Alonzo Howard was born on April 8, 1928 in Abernathy, TX. His family later moved to Bakersfield, CA, and Alonzo graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1946. He attended Washington Sate University where he met and married his wife, then Mary Ruth Johnson, and earned a degree in veterinary medicine in 1954. Dr. Howard ran his own veterinary clinic in Fair Oaks, CA for 23 years. In 1983 he moved with his wife and youngest daughter to Scotts Mills, OR, where he started a small llama-breeding farm. Al was dedicated to his family and was also active in his church community, belonging for many years to the Fair Oaks Presbyterian, and later to the Scotts Mills Friends church. Dr. Howard is survived by his sister Diane, his wife Mary, his four daughters, his grandson and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held March 21 at Scotts Mills Friends Church, with internment in Maplewood Pioneer Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to Scotts Mills Friends Church, or to his favorite charities, Habitat for Humanity and Heifer Project.

Howard, Robert  
Robert E. Howard August 25, 1936 - February 21, 2015 Robert served in the US Navy for 4 years. He retired from Win Co Warehouse and after retirement worked as a pilot car driver for oversized loads. He was also an avid golfer. He married Janet R. Hadden May 9, 1981 in Reno, NV. Survivors: Wife Janet; daughter Leesa Schlittler and husband Mark; sons, Brian Howard and wife Rachel, Scott Howard, Dennis Watkins and wife Liz, Dean Watkins; brother Don Howard and sister Rebecca Biles; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Private Family Services were held at McCabe Cemetery, McMinnville, OR. Arrangements with Adamson's Sheridan Funeral Home.

Hunt, Gloris Joy  
Gloris Joy Hunt January 23, 1932 - February 21, 2015 Gloris Joy Hunt, 83, of Cary, NC, died on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Carolina House of Cary with her family by her side. She was born on January 23, 1932 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Herman Christopher Wiegers and Helen Winters Wiegers. Gloris was always finding new ways to express herself through many forms of art including sketches, painting, sewing, cross stitching, and knitting. She also enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, playing bingo, cooking, and gathering with family. She is survived by her husband, Everett Riddle Hunt; children Jan Keen of Cary, Chris Hunt and his wife Barbara of Albany, Oregon, and Cheryl Nardi and her husband Craig of Cary; grandchildren Shannon, Travis, Cori, David, Aaron, Ethan, Marissa, Sofia, and nine great-grandchildren.
