Christine Brennan

Christine Beers Brennan

January 15, 1960 - December 17, 2013

Christine Beers Brennan, at the age of 53, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by friends and family whom loved her deeply and cherished each minute they had with her on this earth. She was a mighty warrior who fought two difficult rounds of breast cancer, the first occurrence at age 25, and again at age 50. Each of these battles strengthened her Christian belief in God and gave her comfort in knowing she had everlasting love and eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Christine (Cris) was born in Pasco, Washington to the late Darrell Martin Beers and Jerry Lee Maxey Beers. She was the youngest of three children including her brother Robert Beers and Kathy Beers Bryan. Cris attended Fruitland Elementary, Waldo Middle School, North Salem High, and Chemeketa Community College where she met her husband Daniel Brennan. They were married August 21st, 1982. Cris is survived by her loving husband and three beautiful children, Kail Brennan Spreadborough (Dan), Michael Brennan (Melissa), and Rachael Brennan Gillespie (Nolan), all of whom married wonderful spouses providing Cris with nine grandchildren that were the apple of her eye. She also loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Cris was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother that could light up a room with her beautiful smile and infectious laughter. She worked as a Realtor for approximately 18 years and enjoyed many friendships with coworkers and clients during that time. Cris had a deep concern for those less fortunate and spent time over the years coordinating charitable functions for children and families in the community through various outreaches. She always made time to meet the needs of others above herself and will be deeply missed by those whom have been blessed to have known her.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm, January 11th at New Hope Four Square Church, 4963 Swegle Rd. NE, Salem, OR. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Hope Pregnancy Clinic.
