Jane Bossatti, a resident of Salem, Oregon died on Thursday, June 13th in Salem Hospital. Jane was born on June 20, 1941 in Portland, Oregon the daughter of Dr. E.B. "Ec"and Edith "Deed"Bossatti. For the past 50 years Jane has lived in Salem at the Shangri La Community. Jane's parents were instrumental in helping to establish Shangri La, 50 years ago. Jane loved to travel which included Disneyland and Disneyworld, Las Vegas and a cruise to Hawaii. She was an avid sports fan and loved Oregon Ducks Football. Jane enjoyed Pentacle Theatre productions and attending countless dress rehearsals. Jane had been very active in Special Olympics
participating in swimming and track where she received many medals. She also enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.
Jane is survived by her sister, Sara Bossatti-Haering and her husband John of Danville, CA, Niece, Amy Rogers and her husband Rodrigo Herrera of Sacramento, CA, great nieces, Elizabeth Sara, Amelia Edith, great nephew, Rodrigo Ector Herrera. Jane is preceded by her parents Dr. Ector "Ec" and Edith "Deed" Bossatti.
A Celebration of Jane's Life will be held on Sunday, August 11th at 3:00 pm at Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center, 287 SW Washington St. Dallas, OR 97338. Private Entombment Services were held on Friday, June 21st at Mt Crest Abbey Mausoleum in Salem.
