Kenneth "Ken" F. Aman

MT. ANGEL - Ken Aman was born in Silverton to Wilbert and Grace (Smith) Aman, one of four children. He was raised and resided in Mt. Angel. In November 1966, Ken married Karen Bielemeier, and together they raised their three daughters in Mt. Angel. Ken worked as a Highway Engineer for ODOT for 30 years. He retired at the age of 51, where he dedicated his time and passion to restoring classic Mustang cars for the past 20 years. In addition to restoring his cars, Ken adored his family and grandchildren, and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by, wife, Karen; daughters: Julie Aman, Tigard, Sandy Eder, Salem and Stacy Sharma, West Linn; grandchildren: Kelly Eder, Sabrina Eder and Vivek Sharma; sisters: Janice Aman, New York, Sue Adams and Beth Reed, both of Salem.

Mass will be at 10am, Monday, 5/19, at St. Mary Catholic Church of Mt. Angel with rosary at 5pm, TODAY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be provided to the Church or to Gentiva Hospice, 2925 River Road South, Suite 100, Salem, OR 97302, in Ken's memory. Arrangements by Unger Funeral Chapel.
