Lura 'Ethel' (Howe) Joyner

December 23, 1915 - January 8, 2013

SALEM - Born December 23, 1915 in Guymon, Oklahoma. Passed away January 8, 2013 in Salem Oregon.

Spent Early childhood at Alva, Oklahoma. Finished high school at Quay, Oklahoma. Other Education was through the Berean School of the Bible, Springfield, Missouri.

She was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution and The Daughters of Union Veterans.

She was married to Durwood "Tarb" Joyner who preceded her in death. She has three children , Ray Joyner, Lee Joyner and Joan Malcom all residents of Oregon. She has eight grand children and many great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Her last 10 years she lived at The Springs retirement center at Sunnyview and The Woods, assisted living center, both in Salem. The care she received made her last years very comfortable.

At her request no services will be held. Private burial will be in the Restlawn Cemetery, Junction City.
